Skull Appreciation Day

Greetings Bombshell Stamps fans! Alison here, and today I am sharing a project for the first annual International Skull Appreciation Day. What’s that you ask? Please go HERE for all of the details. And if you’d like to check out an amazing Skull Appreciation Day Blog Hop, please go HERE.
I decided to make a scrapbook page of my son wearing his Sugar Skulls t-shirt in honor of this fine celebration. And of course, what better stamps to use than Bombshell’s Sugar Skulls set? This layout is very special to me, because I had both of my kidlings help me color the Sugar Skulls in. A true family affair.

That’s my handsome Phoenix. He loves this shirt, and was extremely excited to make a page based on it. We broke out all of our markers and got to work coloring them. It took Phoenix, Rhiannon, and I quite a while to get them all done, but isn’t the end result totally worth it???

I think they really mimic the shirt well! Check out Phoenix’s ultra-fancy skull…the one with all of the stripes! My favorite one. It’s the highest one in the mound.

The kidlings want to keep scrapbooking with me now which I am so thrilled about. This page is so special to me, because the 3 of us made it together. Have a Happy Skull Appreciation Day!!!
