"Meet the Design Team" -- Kas!

Hello again. Today the spotlight is on Kas, who has been on Bombshell's Design Team for quite some time. Kas is our Hump Day Blog Hop Captain and also writes articles for the blog.

Without further ado, here's her interview!!!
***
1. Brief info about yourself, including your name, where you live, your family (if you want), etc.
I currently live in South Carolina, but have lived in Ohio, Oregon, Georgia, California, Louisiana, and a short stay in Boston. I have three children (22, 15,11) and three fuzzy children, a Victorian Bulldog, a Boston Terrier, and an aging terrier mutt.

2. How long have you been stamping and/or crafting?
I have been crafting my whole life, I can't remember a time when I didn't.
As far as stamping, I didn't really do too much until I found Bombshell stamps. Other stamps were always too cutesy for me. Bombshells were my demise!

3. What are your favorite Bombshell sets and why?
I love all the sugar skulls because I am a HUGE Day of the Dead fan, but Rose's Portrait and the Retro Cowgirls follow closely.

4. What kind of projects do you like to do?
I like to do all sorts of projects. I scrap and make cards for Operation Write Home and Operation Quiet Comfort.

5. What are your favorite coloring mediums?
Well I didn't have Copics until Bombshell, (hmmm Seeing a pattern.) but those girls needed some better colored skin.

I do like using pencils a lot and have pulled out the shimmery watercolors and watercolor pencils on occasion.

6. Describe your crafting "style".
I guess my webname "art loves chaos" says it all. It is never the same. It depends on my mood, the pictures (if scrapping), the project, etc... Usually shabby/grungy 'cause that's just me.

7. Describe your crafting process. Do you start with a stamp set? A sketch? A technique you want to use?
I start with a project idea that sets the whole tone. I started using sketches here for the sketch challenges, and really like doing that now also (hey wait...that's another one attributed to Bombshell).

8. Do you have any other hobbies?
I love all sorts of crafts. I love listening to music and listen to everything from Psychobilly to Johnny Cash to Al Green to Pavorotti. YES! I already know I am a freak!

9. Free for all including little facts, etc. about you.
• I used to work in recording studios then as a video editor
• I love spicy ethnic foods
• I have one part of my family tree traced back to the 1400s but so far no one exciting. The other side I can only go back 2 generations, so I am thinking someone is hiding something juicy.I am just waiting to find out
• OH, and I don't watch TV and I mean don't, except for the following (perhaps some insight here...)
ALL HBO mini-series (True Blood, Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Rome, etc..)
Dexter
• Sunny in Philadelphia
• Sons of Anarchy

•occasionally some Adventure Time or Flapjack with the kids (yes they are as twisted as me!).
