Holiday Party Bombshell

I haven't been posting for a few weeks as I went out for carpal tunnel surgery.  I'm still heeling, but still functioning with my right hand while coddling my left hand.   So I made a clean and simple card to keep things easier.   I really like CAS cards and often aspire to make CAS cards, but don't always achieve that aspiration.  Hopefully I did this time.    So here she is.... my Holiday Bombshell.

This Bombshell Angel is stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento ink and colored with Copics.   The dress is cut using my e-cutter with MTC software using the Bombshell Clothing digital die cut file.

The Bombshell's Santa hat is from the Bombshell Stamps Holiday Accessory set.  It's stamped, the red is colored with Copics and the fuzzy white stuff is this great medium called Liquid Applique that puffs up when heated with a heat gun.

The designer printed papers are from My Mind's Eye and Recollections.   The silver layer is Canson and the white cardstock is Neenah with a Hammermill white cardstock card base.   Some dimensional foam tape is used to pop up this gorgeous gal from the card base.   Lastly, the embossing is created using an embossing folder by Darice.

Bombshell Angel

Kim here sharing a card today!  I submitted this card to a magazine for publication but it was rejected, which means I get to share it with all of you!

I transformed Bombshell Angel into a Steampunk Vampire.
Bombshell Angel has been inked up, stamped and colored with Copic markers.  Her dress, boots and gloves are from the Bombshell Clothing Die Cut Collection, cut out in black and patterned papers with my Silhouette Cameo.  Her hat was printed out, fussy cut and colored from Halloween Costume Digital Stamps.  The bats are from Holiday Accessory.
With my Silhouette Cameo, I cut out the coffin card base, moon, corset, and inside coffin files from SVGCuts "Elmhurst Hollow" SVG Kit. I thought this corset card would look great with Bombshell Angel.
I also stamped some of the bats from Holiday Accessory on the inside!
Here's the back of the card. I love this paper from Graphic45. I think this paper line looks fantastic with so many of the Bombshell stamp sets.

Happy Bombshell Craftin!
- Kim

Ms October's Challenge Reminder!

Hi Everyone

Sharon aka Ms October here with a reminder for my "colour" challenge for the month of October - let's see what you can create using "Black, Orange, Purple & Lime Green"!! Link up your creation here.

I've altered a coaster and used one of the new digital images from "Rosie the Riveter" set of digis! I just love this new set - great fun to create with! I added the witches hat from the "Halloween Costumes" digital stamp set to give my coaster a Halloween theme! Couldn't resist adding the wording "Be Afraid - Be Very Afraid"!

We look forward to seeing your spooky coloured creations!

Simply Irresistible Angel

I know the month started out with our April Bombshell sketch.  Well, sometimes this working mom just gets a little busy.  But I didn't want to miss out on this awesome sketch and still made a card.   So figured I'd close out this month with a card using April's sketch and to give y'all a reminder to check in on May 5th for another fabulous Bombshell sketch challenge.

Oh and if you like the dress this Bombshell is wearing, stop by on May 3rd for a tutorial on how to create a fabulous Bombshell outfit with your e-cutter and favorite printed designer paper.

I often take liberties with sketches and use them as inspiration.  This time I stayed pretty true to the sketch.  Here it is if you didn't catch it earlier this month.

Here's a bit of an angled shot that shows a bit of dimension.  I love pop dots and may need a 12 step program one of these days. Hmm... I could make steps with pop dots... anyway, back to the card.

Here's the inside of the card.

Additional Supplies:
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento)
Coloring: Copic Markers
Printed Paper: Miss Caroline 6x6 (My Mind's Eye),
