Bombshell Cupcake Topper Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

It's Kim here with a Fabulous Friday tutorial on using your Bombshell Stamps to make cupcake toppers.  This is a fun and easy way to jazz up cupcakes (or draw attention away from a not so great frosting job!).

Supplies Needed:
Bombshell Stamps - Girl's Ruin Stamp Set
Ink: Tsukineko Memento Ink, Colorbox Black Ink, Copic Markers
Cardstock: white, black, purple
Embossing/Die-cutting Machine
Zebra Print Embossing Folder
Sizzix Circle Framelits Dies - 1 5/8", 2", and 2 1/2" circles
Lollipop Sticks
Washi Tape
Adhesive
and Cupcakes of course!

First I inked the Girls Sacred Sins Stamp onto white cardstock and colored in the image with copic markers. Then I cut out the image with the 1 5/8" circle die in my embossing/die-cutting machine and inked the edges with colorbox black ink.
Next I cut out black circles with the 2" circle die and embossed them with a Zebra Print Embossing Folder. Then I adhered the stamped image circle onto the black embossed circle.
Then I cut 2 1/2" circles in purple cardstock, stamped the "What a Girl Really Wants" text stamp around the edges in black ink and inked the edges.  I adhered the black circle onto the purple circle but instead of gluing it in the middle, I glued it off-centered towards the bottom so you could read the top "What a Girl Really Wants" text.
Then I flipped the completed topper over and attached a lollipop stick with a piece of washi tape.  I think it looks cool as is, but if you'd like you can also cut another purple circle and adhere it to the back.
And that's it, your topper is ready to decorate a cupcake.  These are easy to make and great for parties!
I hope you all have a Fabulous Friday and happy craftin'!
- Kim
