My local stamp group, The Meade Girls, did a 3-month round of Secret Sisters. We recently met for dinner to "reveal ourselves". This is the desk set that I made for Paula, who I had been sending cards to in secret since June.
I had made this card a while back for a Bombshell Design Team-only technique challenge:
I was very pleased with how the card turned out. So pleased that I decided to make a desk set using the same papers and stamps as the card. This is what I came up with:
A wooden mini- clipboard that I found at Michael's on sale. Using ModgePodge, I adhered the patterned paper to the board after staining the wood.
A note paper holder. I found these at ABC Distributing online. 5 assorted colors in a box. This one was almost a perfect match for the papers that I used.
Love how this turned out. Here's a picture of it opened.
A travel mug (the kind that kids decorate for their parents). By now I had run out of the patterned paper.
I sure hope Paula liked it as much fun as I had making this set.
