Embossed Resist Technique

Hello All and Welcome Back!

Rachael here and today I'm going to teach you a super easy technique that you can use with ALL of your Bombshell Stamps.

You will need:

Your paper, card or tag; a heat tool; a scrap piece of paper towel; Distress inks; white ink; white embossing powder; your stamp; and a water spritzer (not pictured)

Stamp out and heat emboss your image. I'm using Girl's Ruin.

Now take your distress ink and cover your image. (You may use more than one color for this technique.)

Use your water spritzer and cover the project with a layer of water. The Distress Ink will react.

The embossed Bombshell image will resist the Distress Ink.  Take a paper towel and gently wipe away the excess ink.  Or, you may blot the entire project in certain areas to leave more or less ink as you like.

Heat set.

Distress the edges with Distress Ink.

I finished my project with Distress dyed green crinkle ribbon.

I hope you all enjoyed this technique and give it a try with your Bombshells. Try it with different color inks and embossing powders! Share your photos with us on our Facebook Page! We'd love to see how your projects turn out!

Cheers!
Xo, Rachael
